Day 01: Arrival Bagdogra / NJP – Darjeeling

Welcome to the Queen of the Hills
Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed on a scenic drive to Darjeeling (approx. 93 km / 3 hours). Nestled at an altitude of 2,134 meters, Darjeeling—fondly known as the Queen of the Hills—offers mesmerizing views of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga, lush tea estates, and charming colonial-era landscapes.
Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the cool mountain air and serene surroundings.

Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of coupon) to witness a magical sunrise over the Himalayan range, including Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest on clear days. Watch the peaks turn golden as the first rays of the sun touch the snow.
Return to the hotel for breakfast, followed by a guided city tour covering:

Day 03: Darjeeling – Gangtok

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok (approx. 98 km / 4 hours). Set at an altitude of 1,750 meters, Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and a beautiful blend of tradition and modernity. The city is known for its monasteries, orchid gardens, and panoramic Himalayan views.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 04: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok, visiting:

Day 05: Gangtok – Tsomgo (Changu) Lake Excursion

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet and approximately 35 km from Gangtok. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, the lake remains frozen during winter and reflects changing hues with the seasons. Local legends say that lamas once predicted the future by observing the lake’s colors.
Also visit the revered New Baba Mandir, dedicated to the Indian Army soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh.
Return to Gangtok by evening.
